Asia Woods, M.Ed.
Asia (she/her) is a forward-thinking connector, community builder, and educator who fosters dynamic cultures grounded in inclusion, equity, and belonging. Her passions include developing curriculum, speaking, facilitating, and curatingcommunity-minded conversations. Asia is on a mission to help others understand the concepts of justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity, and the importance of intertwining all three into our daily life practices.

A Houston, Texas native, Asia works as a Diversity Recruiter for a career advancement platform that supports Black, Latinx, and Native American students and professionals. Every day, Asia works to propel the careers of those who hold identities historically and
intentionally marginalized in the workforce. Much of Asia's work is focused on identity and equity education, professional development, and organizational change. Asia received her Master of Higher Education from the University of Houston, and her BA in Communication Studies from Texas State University where she was initiated into the Iota Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, you can find her listening to anything Beyoncé, playing with her Maltipoo Texas Mac, eating tacos, traveling, or enjoying moments with those she loves.
